Greetings from the Garden

Spring renews. I am always excited about those first truckloads of fresh annual flowers, bloomin perennials and breathtaking trees and shrubs! I never tire of their fresh, shiny new leaves in hues of gold, bright reds, greys and mossy green. Our opportunity as gardener's and artists is to find a special place in our already full gardens to fit in that unique, new favorite!

This seasons best new varieties and most sensational blooming plants are carpeting our garden shop grounds and we cannot wait to share them with you! Thousands....and we mean 1000's of new & unusual fruit trees, berries, shrubs, roses, trees, and perennials have arrived....not too mention garden artwork.

We are also opening our seasonal Chester location this Saturday! It is truly a beautiful little spot with special plants...I hope you will consider a trip over there to check it out. Lots of fun places to eat in Chester, too. Make it a day!

Lupinus Westcountry™ Masterpiece' is a fantastic variety with showstopping bicolor blooms of magenta purple with orange flecks. Flowers appear in early summer, are long-blooming, and make great cut flowers. Native. Lupines thrive in rich, acidic, organic, sandy soils with good drainage and moderate moisture levels. Amend with compost before planting. Lupines prefer cooler climates and benefit from a layer of mulch. Deadheading spent flowers will extend the bloom time where cooler climates allow and may also encourage repeat blooming. They are available at both stores right now! Grab yours today.
